Ballymaguire Foods restarts production after listeriosis recall

Ballymaguire Foods, a major ready-meal supplier to retailers including Tesco and Lidl, will resume operations on 12 August after halting production due to a listeriosis outbreak. The Dublin-based company pulled hundreds of products in a precautionary recall and has since introduced protocols exceeding industry norms. Approval from Ireland’s National Environmental Health Service now paves the way for its products to return to shelves.
