CPH2 taps licensing to scale hydrogen manufacturing
Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) has struck its first licensed manufacturing deal with Hidrigin in Ireland, enabling rapid scale-up without heavy infrastructure investment. Under a long-term agreement covering up to 2GW, Hidrigin and industrial partner Jones Engineering will begin producing CPH2’s MFE220 electrolyzers by late 2025, with deployment set for 2026.
For manufacturing leaders, this signals a strategic shift towards licensing models that accelerate market entry while leveraging local expertise and capacity. As global hydrogen demand rises, partnerships like this could redefine how technology providers expand efficiently.
