Dassault Systèmes has launched a new awareness campaign in Seoul, South Korea, showcasing how AI-powered virtual worlds are transforming the manufacturing industry.

The French software company illustrates the integration of generative design, simulation, and robotics to optimise production processes and product development.

The campaign is centred on a 1620 m² 3D curved LED COEX screen in Gangnam, which will run from 1–28 November. The installation aims to engage an estimated 7.5 million passersby with a five-part visual journey that traces the car manufacturing process from initial design to autonomous driving, emphasising efficiency and resilience in production systems.

The demonstration uses virtual twins to model complex manufacturing processes. Generative design software creates a digital prototype of the car, which is then refined through simulation. Robotic arms, automated machinery, human operators, and sensor computing interact in a virtual space to replicate assembly lines, while continuous data collection feeds performance optimisation.

Alongside the screen, Dassault Systèmes operated a “pop-up” street experience last 14–15 November. Visitors interacted with AI photobooths, watched videos, and attended demonstrations with company experts, offering practical insight into the benefits of virtualised manufacturing and predictive modelling.

The campaign extends beyond Korea, with supporting activities in China and France. These include social media campaigns, paid media placements in top business publications, partnerships with technology influencers, and video interviews with Dassault Systèmes’ manufacturing specialists.

These initiatives aim to show how virtual twins and AI applications can reduce development time, improve quality, and enhance productivity in manufacturing operations.
