Global packaging leader visits Biopax to spotlight innovation in West Belfast

Biopax Ltd, a West Belfast-based packaging manufacturer, hosted Madam Li Li, Chairman and CEO of Masterwork Group—the world’s second-largest post-press packaging tech firm—for an exclusive site visit. Her only stop in Ireland, the visit highlighted Biopax’s cutting-edge adoption of Masterwork’s MasterMatrix die cutters and folder-gluer systems.

The visit celebrated Biopax’s commitment to high-performance, sustainable packaging, underpinned by global partnerships with Masterwork and HEIDELBERG. Madam Li praised Biopax’s innovation and eco-conscious focus, noting the alignment with Masterwork’s own values.

Biopax, currently expanding and planning to grow its workforce, is strengthening its position as a leader in polyethylene-free, high-volume packaging for food and non-food sectors.
