Oscrete expands into waterproofing with Pudlo acquisition

Concrete admixture manufacturer Oscrete has acquired structural waterproofing specialist Pudlo, strengthening its product portfolio and positioning in the UK and Irish construction markets.

The move comes just over a year after Pudlo was rescued from administration by UK Property Repair Group. Oscrete now takes majority control, while the seller retains a 25% stake.

The acquisition brings together two complementary product lines—admixtures and structural waterproofing—enabling Oscrete to offer a broader range of solutions for complex construction environments, from basements to swimming pools.

The deal also signals continued consolidation across the construction chemicals sector, as players look to diversify and innovate in a competitive, margin-sensitive industry.
